Des alizés réguliers et constants

Nichée sur la côte EST de Saint-Martin, la Baie Orientale bénéficie de conditions de vent exceptionnelles toute l’année , faisant d’elle l’un des meilleurs spots de voile et de sports nautiques dans les Caraïbes.

La région est soumise à l’influence des alizés de secteur Est à Nord-Est , soufflant de manière constante entre 15 et 25 nœuds la majeure partie de l’année. Ces vents modérés à soutenus offrent des conditions parfaites pour l’apprentissage comme pour le perfectionnement en kitesurf, wingfoil ou catamaran.

Une météo favorable toute l’année

• Saison sèche (décembre à mai) : des vents réguliers, une mer relativement calme et un ensoleillement généreux. C’est la haute saison idéale pour naviguer dans des conditions confortables.

• Saison humide (juin à novembre) : les vents peuvent être légèrement plus irréguliers, avec quelques épisodes plus forts en période de dépressions tropicales. Néanmoins, la baie reste praticable, notamment le matin quand les conditions sont plus stables.

Un plan d’eau protégé et sécurisant

La Baie Orientale offre :

• Un e baie très grande, bien exposée au vent , parfaite pour débuter et progresser en toute sécurité. Le vent ramène toujours au bord sur une très large plage.

• Un lagon d’ eau turquoise peu profonde , idéale pour naviguer sur du plat. L’eau est tellement claire qu’on y voit le fond et les nombreuses tortues qui y ont élu domicile

• Une barrière de corail naturelle , qui limite la houle dans le lagon tout en maintenant une bonne circulation d’air. Pour les fan de strapless et surf c’est un superbe terrain de jeu, qui vous ramènera automatiquement dans le lagon en cas de chute! Safe zone!
